This is our basic, economy, "no fluff" finish - when price and portability matter! The most affordable pedestals in our lineup are manufactured with heavyweight fluted corrugated cardboard, with MDF fiberboard - lacquered caps, strong enough to hold displays up to 75 LBS. We offer a choice of the two most popular colors - black or white to coordinate with any display.

We have been absolutely happy with the pedestals we received from Pedestal Source. Originally we were worried about the cardboard, but it was easy to paint and looks pretty good. Also, the items were well packaged (I say this because one box was damaged, but the packaging prevented the pedestal from being damaged).

These pedestals worked great. They are inexpensive and do the job right. They are much sturdier than you think. Just make sure you put them together correctly. Thanks again.

This pedestal proved to be our salvation in the usual chaos of a gallery change. Its elegance pleased the fussy artists, its strength and low cost pleased the curator, and its simplicity and foldable storage pleased the exhibit installer. The internal hanging stabilizer idea is drop-dead genius.
